About Innovare Tx

A different kind of care — built around you

Innovare Tx Regenerative & Wellness Clinic is led by Charles Ortega, PA-C, MPAS — a Dallas native who brings both clinical and personal familiarity with orthobiologic procedures.

In short
Innovare Tx Regenerative & Wellness Clinic is led by Charles Ortega, PA-C, MPAS — a Dallas native with 27+ years of medical experience, board-certified since 1998, and fluent in English and Spanish. Charles has personally undergone an autologous orthobiologic procedure (BMAC), prepared from his own bone marrow. Our integrated team also includes co-founder and supervising physician Dr. Nathan V. Nguyen and Rowena Calleja, PT — a dual-credentialed physical therapist and medical doctor — all under one roof in Addison, TX.

A provider with firsthand experience

Charles Ortega hasn't only studied orthobiologic medicine — he has been a patient too. Years of competitive soccer through high school and college took a toll on his knees, and multiple knee surgeries followed.

Charles chose to undergo a Bone Marrow Aspirate Concentrate (BMAC) orthobiologic procedure — an autologous procedure prepared from his own bone marrow, the same procedure now offered at Innovare Tx. That was roughly a decade ago.

That firsthand experience shaped how he practices. Since then, Charles has performed orthobiologic procedures for hundreds of patients and trained numerous providers in ultrasound-guided joint injections.

"He was very informative and found more than my initial visit last October back home. Very impressed with the level of care just passing through the area."— Kevin A., Zocdoc

PRP, PPP, BMAC, and A2M are autologous procedures prepared from your own blood or bone marrow. They are considered investigational and are not FDA-approved for the treatment of any specific orthopedic condition, including osteoarthritis. Individual results are not guaranteed. Any decision to pursue an orthobiologic procedure should be made with your provider after a clinical evaluation.

Why patients choose Innovare Tx

We're not the only wellness clinic in Dallas — but we are different

And the differences matter.

Integrated care under one roof

We combine orthobiologic medicine, physical therapy, weight management, and family medicine in a single practice. Your providers talk to each other. Your treatment plan connects instead of contradicts.

27+ years of real experience

Charles Ortega has been practicing medicine since April 1999 — over a quarter century of diagnosing, treating, and listening to patients across occupational health and orthobiologic medicine.

Dual-credentialed physical therapist

Rowena Calleja holds both a Medical Doctor degree and a B.S. in Physical Therapy — extremely rare in the US — with 4.5 years specializing in knee osteoarthritis rehabilitation.

In-person medical supervision

Unlike telehealth-only providers, we see you, examine you, and monitor your progress in person — with hands-on monitoring for GLP-1 weight management and orthobiologic procedures.

Transparent pricing

Our in-clinic compounded tirzepatide program is $160/month. Home delivery compounded tirzepatide ships at $249/month for any dose.

Bilingual & multilingual care

Charles is fluent in English and Spanish; Rowena speaks English and Tagalog — extending our ability to serve a diverse patient community. Military & law enforcement discounts available.

Our approach to medicine

Integrative, whole-person care

We don't just treat symptoms — we look at the full picture. Whether you need a routine checkup, help with peripheral neuropathy, or conservative care for ongoing joint pain, our team is equipped to help.

  • Listen first. We start by hearing your story — your pain, your goals, your past experiences with healthcare.
  • Evaluate thoroughly. We use hands-on examination, imaging, and diagnostics to understand what's actually happening.
  • Educate clearly. We explain what we find, your options, and what we'd recommend — in language you can actually understand.
  • Treat strategically. We combine the right therapies into a plan that works for your body and your life.
  • Follow through. We monitor your progress, adjust your plan, and stay involved. You're never just a chart number here.
