Military Discount Doctor in Dallas — Care Built for Those Who Serve
You've spent your career running toward danger so others could run away from it. Whether you wore a uniform on a military base, a patrol car, a fire truck, or a federal checkpoint, the physical cost of that service is real — and your doctor should give it back.
Chronic knee pain from years in body armor. A shoulder that hasn't been right since training. A back injury you've been pushing through because “it's not that bad.” The 20 pounds you can't shake no matter what you do. At Innovare Tx, we don't just offer a military discount doctor in Dallas — we offer a provider who gets it. Charles Ortega, PA-C has 27 years of medical experience and a personal background in military and law enforcement. This isn't a marketing angle. It's who he is.
Why Innovare Tx? Because your provider has walked in your boots
Charles Ortega isn't a civilian doctor who read a textbook about service-related injuries. He comes from a military and law enforcement background and built Innovare Tx around the kind of care he wished more providers offered:
- No-nonsense communication. You get straight answers, not medical jargon and runaround.
- Respect for your time. Active-duty schedules, shift work, and deployment timelines are real constraints — we work with them.
- Understanding of duty-related injuries. He knows that “light duty” isn't always an option, and that your body has been through things most patients haven't.
- Whole-person approach. Physical therapy, orthobiologic medicine, weight management, and primary care — all under one roof, all coordinated by one team.
Charles works alongside Rowena Calleja, PT — a dual-credentialed physical therapist (MD + PT) with 7+ years of U.S. experience, including 4.5 years specializing in knee osteoarthritis rehabilitation. Together, they deliver integrated care that treats root causes, not just symptoms. Learn more about our providers
Services built for the demands of service
Orthobiologic medicine — procedures performed in-office
We offer autologous orthobiologic procedures — prepared from your own blood or bone marrow and delivered with image guidance:
- PRP (Platelet-Rich Plasma) — a concentration of platelets prepared from a small sample of your own blood, delivered by image-guided injection in the same visit.
- BMAC (Bone Marrow Aspirate Concentrate) — an autologous procedure prepared from your own bone marrow, concentrated and delivered by image-guided injection.
- A2M (Alpha-2-Macroglobulin) — a protease-inhibitor protein concentrated from your own blood and delivered by injection in-office.
These procedures are minimally invasive and typically performed in-office. They are considered investigational and are not FDA-approved for the treatment of any specific orthopedic condition; candidacy is determined by a clinical evaluation. Explore our orthobiologic medicine services
PRP, PPP, BMAC, and A2M are autologous procedures prepared from your own blood or bone marrow. They are considered investigational and are not FDA-approved for the treatment of any specific orthopedic condition, including osteoarthritis. Individual results are not guaranteed. Any decision to pursue an orthobiologic procedure should be made with your provider after a clinical evaluation.

If you're a federal employee — USPS, TSA, DHS, CBP, DOD, VA, or any federal agency — you have the right to choose your own doctor under the OWCP system. Innovare Tx specializes in OWCP claims, including CA-1 and CA-2 support, initial evaluations and ongoing treatment, and documentation that meets federal standards. You don't have to see the agency-assigned physician. Learn about your OWCP rights
